Sport Urban
Sport Urban was an inter-regional network project funded through INTERREG IIIC. In total there were 24 partner organisations participating in the project from France, N. Irlenad, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Germany and Morocco.
The objective of the Sport Urban Project was to exchange experience, methods and approaches by which sports related facilities influence urban regeneration and development; focus on the effects of such facilities in deprived areas; to make recommendations for furthering the potential of sports related projects to urban regerneration and social inclusion.
